Liz Stewart of Lush Industrial returns to Boston Arts Fest! "In 2000 a friend showed me how to string my first beaded bracelet, and I was hooked. I am forever grateful to my dear friend Jen (RIP) for sharing her expertise in beading with me back then. Ever since, I have been stringing and creating and selling my work. I even ran my own bead store for almost 10 years. These days I am creating using new and repurposed hardware as my "beads". I love seeing where the materials take me. My specialty is Morse Code jewelry - I use the hardware to represent dashes and dots, spelling out words and phrases, creating jewelry that is both personal and lovely to wear."#bostonartsfestival #bostonarts #bostonmusic #artwork #art #boston #artfestival #jewelery ... Joseph Mushipi- "I am a self-taught Zambian fine artist who immigrated to Rhode Island in May of 2021 (my wife is a Rhode Islander and we met while she was serving in the US Peace Corps). I paint with extraordinary attention to detail, using color and texture to draw in and invoke emotion from my audience. I consider myself an African storyteller through my work, bringing inspiration from African life and experiences, while also adding elements of magic and mysticism from my dreams in many of my pieces. I also tell the stories of animals through my art and have found great joy in this type of work, along with creating some seasonal pieces, since having immigrated to this part of the world."#bostonartsfestival #bostonarts #bostonmusic #artwork #art #boston #artfestival #painter ... Lisa Hayden is a professional artist living in Massachusetts. She studied painting in Miami before returning to New England to meld the abstraction and colorful feel of Miami with the nature and joy of the seasons in the north. A creative force in her work is a love of the landscape; paintings often explore the intersection of human feelings and the natural world. An expression of both abstract concepts and landscapes through color, texture and motion is behind each piece of art.#bostonartsfestival #bostonarts #bostonmusic #artwork #art #boston #artfestival #painter ...
