Who can apply?
Any Boston-based artist or band with past live performance experience. We are seeking bands that have an established following in the greater Boston area and that are capable of quickly and professionally plugging into a provided backline and playing.
Preference will be given to musicians living and working within the 495 loop.
What genres are you looking for?
We are open to all genres, and in fact are hoping to provide a diverse sampling of the amazing musicians in this city. We care more about the quality than the category!
Are you looking for acoustic or electric?
Both. The Waterfront stage will feature larger acts, and we plan to have solo and duo acts perform while the equipment is being changed on the stage.
Will you accept cover bands?
We are looking for musicians with original songs because this festival is all about original art. A limited number of covers during your set is allowed.
What would our set length be?
This will be finalized closer to the event, but Waterfront stage artists will have an approximate 45 minute set, and acoustic, Garden sets will be about 15 minutes.
Can we sell our merch at the show?
Absolutely! There will be a tent next to the stage for band merchandise.
Load in/out?
We will have a lane closed for drop off and pick up, but you will need to move and park your vehicle after unloading. Specific info will be sent closer to the event.
