Jen Matson is a local photographer who has been shooting Boston scenes and selling her photos in stores, galleries, and at art shows for over 20 years. In addition to taking over The Boston Arts Festival in 2016, she runs the Beacon Hill Art Walk and the Beacon Hill Holiday Sale, curated the Artists for Harbor Arts at Harbor Fest, is on the Board of Directors of United South End Artists, and for 7 years ran the Artists Crossing Gallery in Downtown Crossing. Peter is Jen’s partner in work and life. He has helped run the Beacon Hill Art Walk and the Beacon Hill Holiday Fine Art Sale for over a decade, and has been responsible for all of the shows’ online properties, as well as that of the United South End Artists (USEAboston.com) in the South End. Together they transitioned Artists Crossing Gallery to an Arts Events company, pulling all of the shows under its umbrella. Peter can often be seen at their shows running around making sure everything runs smoothly and all of the artists and visitors are taken care of.
