Jesse Shaw, principal and designer at JShaw Furniture, trained at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine. In his second year, he earned the distinguished title of Fellow and honed his skills under the guidance of master craftsmen. After obtaining his MFA in furniture design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Jesse became the lead furniture designer for Currey & Company, a pioneer in home decor. Jesse’s work has been featured in various magazines, and he has made guest appearances on the PBS television show, Rough Cut Woodworking with Tommy Mac. Jesse teaches several woodworking classes at the Elliot Street School in Jamaica Plain and Cambridge Center for Adult Education (CCAE) where he connected with Matt Dinneen who was taking one of his classes.
